So does a messy desk mean you are disorganized? What does it mean if you have a clean and neat desk?
Check out this video and share your thoughts by leaving a comment. I am curious to know what you think!
I was actually speechless after watching this video…

I watched this video and know that my clients get fed up with their lack of productivity and inability to find things. To think of someone being MORE productive or MORE efficient I find hard to believe. I’d like to see that study.
It did remind me of Lorie Marrero’s blog post on this same subject. http://www.clutterdietblog.com/2010/01/apology-from-a-mess-apologist.html It makes me laugh to see a recant.
Thanks, Kerry. That was a great article Lorie wrote! Thanks for sharing.
WOW, my desk looks downright neat as a pin after watching that video! Although I’m challenged with the “piling/not filing” syndrome I came away with two thoughts:
1. Even though I’m still not as organized as I’d like to be, I can see that I’ve made some progress.
2. I still need to find/create systems that work for me!
One thing I recently learned about that I think is going to help me with my ongoing creation of “To Do” lists notes (I go thought a TON of writing pads) is the Pulse Smartpen that I just purchased. I’ll keep you posted as to how it works for me.
Yes, I would love an update on the pen. Keep me posted.
Getting and staying organized is a process and journey. We are all on it. Some are more challenged with it than others. It will all come together…no worries!
