so try this recipe……
roasted broccoli with basil/lemon & pecans
first you spread out your broccoli on a lined cookie sheet and roast it until you see it a bit brown, slightly crispy.
while your broccoli is in the oven, in a bowl mix together zest of one lemon ( I used meyer lemon,yummy) chopped fresh basil and chopped pecans. I used about a hand full of pecans to chop. Mix the three ingredients together and let sit so the flavors can infuse themselves together.
Once the broccoli is done, sprinkle your mixture on top of the broccoli and then add, if you like, a little bit of olive oil (extra virgin) and salt and pepper.
My kids will only eat broccoli this way now! And before this it was either mayo or cheese sauce (yuck).

Cravings can tell us a lot about ourselves, what our body is seeking, and what it is processing, once you begin to decipher the language. It also informs us how to bring balance, and ultimately health. Cravings are part of our bodies communication system; listen and then make the good choices.
