Day 1 – My Journey To Purge Internal Clutter

by admin

Today I started a 21-day purification program to cleanse my body of toxins, pesticides, heavy metals and caffeine. My hope is by doing a video blog, I will share my goal with the world and not cave to my cravings.

I am looking for support as well. If you have any encouraging words, I’d love to hear them. If you have a simple recipe that is organic and doesn’t contain dairy, sugar, beans, nuts, seeds, soy, wheat, caffeine, shellfish, corn, or dried fruit, I could use one!

I figure, if I am going to do this program, have fun with it. :)

Stayed tuned for Day 2 of  my journey to “purge internal clutter”.

I would love to lose my cravings for sugar, too! It’s a tough journey to let go of “not so good for us” habits (we both know that as organizers), and I applaud you for taking the first step to giving internal clutter the boot. =)

Deb

P.S. I’ve heard that going organic may not necessarily the best as many of those farms are in very close proximity to “regular” farms. So, when it rains, soil from one farm mingles with the other.

I love that you are sharing your “21 Day to Purge Internal Clutter” program results and experiences with us all! You are an inspiration for sure. Consciously choosing to not eat wheat, dairy, sugar, alcohol and caffeine for a period of time will surely give your body the break it needs to purify and detoxify. And, I guarantee that you will lose unnecessary weight along with it. I really like your post-it idea with reminders and affirmations around the house to keep you on track with your commitment to creating new healthy eating habits…just in case a craving kicks in and takes you by surprise. Leave it to the efficiency specialist to come up with this great idea to stay on track with ones goals.

Really, though, those cravings will dissipate within 3-7 days and you be liberated from being a slave to sugar, caffeine, alcohol and carbs! I’m certain that you will feel lighter and more clear in the coming days.

I am looking forward to witnessing your transformation…

Shelly, I am going big! I plan to tell everyone. The cravings are still there….from time to time. Thank you for the encouraging words.
